Finally found mats that actually fit the FC3S footwell instead of sliding around. The OEM-style shape hugs the transmission tunnel and dead pedal like the originals did, and the material feels thick enough to survive a Midwest winter.

These dropped right into my '88 FC with no trimming, and the driver's side even has the correct cutout for the dead pedal. The carpet backing feels dense, way better than the flimsy universal set I ran for years. Nice to finally have mats that actually fit the footwell shape.
